Since I first ran in 2003, I have advocated for a more global and creative / innovative economy for Philadelphia. I believe it is the best way to add thousands of good jobs to our city while attracting both investment and tourism dollars. That way, we can ensure that people living in our neighborhoods who don’t have a college degree will have real opportunities for good paying jobs and those who have great opportunities will choose to make Philadelphia their home.

Will your taxes be raised again next year? Will we still be reading about flash mobs? Will schools provide a better education? Will there be good paying jobs for those without a college degree? Will those with advanced degrees choose to live in Philadelphia? Will our city be a clean, green, creative and global city? These are just some of the issues of this election. Providing answers is what I’ve been doing, and will continue to do, throughout my campaign.
